Introduction
The Cub Scout Uniform is a critical part of being a Scout. All Scouts are expected to have at least one complete Class-A uniform. They should be worn at all major Pack 301 events including monthly Pack meetings, award banquets, ceremonies, camping trips (especially for flag ceremonies) and parades.
NOTE: Lion Cub Scouts are not required to purchase a uniform. They may use their Cub Scout Activity Shirt during this rank.

Uniform Builder
Click the link below to be taken to the BSA Uniform Builder at the online Scout Shop. Here, you can assemble a complete Class-A uniform and purchase online. The full Class-A uniform investment will be approximately $90.00. We recommend purchasing the "Switchback" pants which are uniform pants that convert to shorts.
Note: Due to the price of uniforms, and due to how fast boys grow, it is permissible to delay ordering a full uniform until you are certain your new Scout is willing to commit to Scouting. We ask that at a minimum, your Scout purchase a rank appropriate cap, and wear neat pressed blue slacks or clean denim pants along with the Scout activity shirt provided by the Pack. Please contact your Committee Chair if financial difficulties prevent the purchase of a Class-A uniform.

Uniform Code
Your son should/will be encouraged to wear his uniform appropriately. This is one of the basic fundamentals of Scouting. The shirt should always be tucked in and the uniform worn orderly. He should understand the importance of representing the entire Scout Organization while in uniform.

Here are some tips for wearing the uniform:
- DO keep the uniform clean and in good repair. The official uniform is a sturdy, machine-washable garment that will last for years with proper care.
- DO be sure to wear the complete uniform as prescribed by the pack. A Cub Scout wearing a uniform with parts missing is not in uniform.
- DO NOT wear non-BSA badges, awards, or insignia on the Cub Scout uniform or make any alterations to the uniform or insignia.
- DO NOT mix uniform parts with non-uniform clothing, such as wearing a uniform cap with other clothing or wearing the uniform shirt with torn blue jeans. The uniform should be treated as a unit—worn in its entirety, or not at all.
