About the Day

Join us for a morning of Scouting at George Washington's home, Mount Vernon! Scouts will:
  • Tour the Mansion
  • Explore the Grounds
  • Lay a Wreath at the Tomb of George Washington
  • Explore the Museum
  • Participate in a Scavenger Hunt
  • Complete Scouting adventures and earn advancement!

Date & Time Schedule

February 25th, 2023
  • 9:30am: Meet outside the entrance gate to Mount Vernon as a group to get passes.
  • 10:00am: Enter the main facility and split into two groups: Tour A and Tour B.
  • 10:25am: Tour A begins the Mansion tour.
  • 10:30am: Tour B begins the Mansion tour.
  • 11:00am: Tour A and B meet at the Tomb of George Washington to lay the wreath.
  • 11:15am-12:30pm: Complete Scout activities, Scavenger Hunt, advancements, etc.
  • 12:30pm: Lunch as Dens at Food Court
  • Rest of day to explore as families or dens!

    Registration Deadline: February 11, 2023
    The Pack will pay admission for the Scout and ONE adult or guardian.
    Additional Attendees are Registered Below. Children 0 - 5 years of age are FREE.
    If you have a Mount Vernon Individual or Family Membership, please indicate below. Do NOT purchase additional tickets if your membership covers you or your family. 
    Important Policies:
    ​Please discourage your group from bringing bags. Bags larger than 16x16x8 inches are prohibited, and all bags will be searched. mountvernon.org/baginspection.

    After you submit registration, please head on over to Pack 301's Online Store and purchase your additional attendee tickets, if applicable.
