Logistics

When: Friday September 13th, 2024
Where: George Washington Masonic National Memorial
101 Callahan Drive
Alexandria, VA 22301

Time: Arrive at 5:00 PM. Safety instruction starts at 5:15. The sooner we go over instruction, the more time we have to shoot rockets! We end around 7 PM.

Rocket Kits will be distributed when they arrive. Stay tuned for details.

Estes "Athena" Assembly Video

Blast Off!

Every Scout will receive an Estes® rocket of their own. After safety instructions (always safety first), you and your Scout can build the rocket!  We will have multiple stations from which Scouts can start launching!

​A Launch Commander Safety Instructor is assigned to each station.

Just imagine the look on your boys face as they count down 3 . . 2 . . 1. .
