What is the cost to register with Cub Scout Pack 301?
The total cost includes the Scouting America application fees (paid online) and Pack 301's annual dues of $70. Financial assistance is available for the registration fees.
What do the Pack 301 Fees cover?
The $70 annual dues cover the cost of neckerchiefs, slides, awards, and program expenses for the scout.
What forms are required for new scout registration?
In addition to the online Scouting America application, you will need to submit Health Form A & B and a permission slip.
Do I need to be a volunteer for my child to join?
While not required, the pack's success depends on parent volunteers.
What is the Popcorn fundraiser, and is it required?
The popcorn fundraiser helps the Pack operate on the profit raised through the fundraiser. Other than the Pack 301 annual fee, Scout families do NOT pay for core activities, awards, and supplies. It is not expected for New Families to sell popcorn, but we welcome participation. However, returning families can opt out of selling popcorn by submitting $200 to the Pack, through the Pack 301 Store.
