Pack 301 is chartered by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 609 at Alexandria National Cemetery. The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) of the U.S. is a nonprofit veterans’ service organization composed of combat veterans and eligible members from the active, Guard and Reserve forces. The mission of the VFW is to foster camaraderie among United States veterans of overseas conflicts, to serve our veterans, the military and our communities and to advocate on behalf of all veterans. 

Post 609 is based out of the the Caretaker’s building of the Alexandria National Cemetery, located on Wilkes Street in Alexandria, VA.
